There are many great reasons for becoming a certified meeting planner. For one it tells your clients that you are serious about what you do. Of course event planning certification is not a requirement of our industry. Rather, it’s often looked at as a way to improve your skill set. Now don’t get me wrong, I know many meeting and event planners that are not certified. And they are great at their jobs. However, becoming a certified meeting professional is something that we do endorse.
