Finally all the Halloween candy has been consumed, the sugar highs have come to an end and the last of the decorations have been put away for another year. I say it every year, so here I go again, I can’t believe how fast time really does fly by. And maybe it has something to do with age (mine) but it seems like every year flies by faster than the one before. Starting with Halloween and going straight through to Christmas are some of my most favorite days and weeks of the year.
So ready or not Thanksgiving is upon us. I do love this time of year and it has absolutely nothing to do with “Black Friday Shopping”. Thanksgiving has so much meaning and is such a special time. It’s a holiday where we all make the time to be thankful and appreciative for what we have and make quality time to spend with family and friends. And really isn’t that what the Thanksgiving holiday is all about being thankful, family and friends and of course all the delicious food. And while it does take a lot of effort and energy to plan, coordinate the family and friends, the food and anything and everything else that is required. But it’s all worth it.
So let’s forget about all the hard work that it can takes to ensure Thanksgiving joy and take a moment for a Thanksgiving smile and enjoy this classic holiday commercial.
