Halloween is just around the corner; and in less than two weeks pint size ghosts and superheroes will be taking over our streets. Whether it be political humor or movie and TV characters, this year it’s all about the perfect Halloween costume. And what that means to all of us, is it’s time to start thinking about that just right costume idea.
Each and every year I am gobsmacked by some of the more genius and well-timed costumes people come up with. So I am committed, no last minute ideas and stress for me this year. Instead of going with the same old, same old witch costume, this time around I am taking the bull by the horns to come up with a great, timely get-up.
Who Doesn’t Love some Halloween Fun?
There are some that figure Halloween is just for kids and in fact that couldn’t be farther from the truth. As it turns out there are just as many kids Halloween costumes sold as adult ones. According to the National Retail Foundation (NFR), this year Americans will spend about a $1 billion on kids Halloween costumes and $1.2 billion on costumes for Adults. Go figure, proving adults enjoy good old Halloween fun too.
While many adult celebrators will go the traditional route when it comes to their Halloween costumes, so many more will be going the more creative, topical way. And with just days left before our pumpkins turn into jack-o’-lanterns now is the time to decide who you and your young ones are going out as this year.
