The question is; do we need strategic planning conference and/or a strategic plan?
I believe we all know the answer to that question is a rousing yes, yes, yes! These days when it comes to planning meetings and events, details and issues can and will change at a rapid pace. It is imperative for organizations to formulate and follow a course of action and an organizational structure in an attempt to ensure, in general, overall success.
We’ve all heard it said before “A goal without a plan is just a wish”. Whether talking about the meeting industry or another industry, truer words have never been spoken. Strategic planning is a practice that energizes and propels the anticipated result. When looking at companies that have already achieved victory in the meeting and event planning world, more often than not, they have had a strategic plan to help propel them to success.
The number one reason that companies endeavor to try and complete strategic planning is in an effort to understand more, make resolutions and decisions and to create a plan of action about the future for the organization and or meeting. When working on a strategic plan smart companies attempt to craft strong objectives by aligning the powers, strengths and resources while they stay the course and ultimately save time, waste and energy.
I know all of us can relate… see how Jim Couchenour and our friends at YouTube show us exactly why we should have a Strategic Planning conference to work out a strategic plan.
