Looking for a fun, creative theme for your adventuresome friend’s 2015 birthday celebration? If so, consider recelebrating their 15th birthday in 2015. While the 15th in 15 theme might be fun for any of your adventuresome friends, it might be the most fun if your friend happens to be turning 51 in 15!
Think about (or ask your friend about) all of the fun things they did for their 15th birthday. Find out what their favorite foods were. Also, find out about all they wish they had done, but did not. (If you need to ask the honoree questions I would suggest doing this well in advance of their birthday if you want to make the theme of this celebration a surprise for them.)
Birthday Party Planning – 15th in 15
Assuming that everything suggested is legal and safe, recreate a special 15th birthday celebration for them in 2015 incorporating many of these ideas. You might, for example, be going to an amusement park, viewing old movies, listening to old music, going to an ice cream parlor, having a sleep over and telling stories all night long, or going to a spa. You might have a menu that you haven’t seen in years. Start planning the event now by writing detailed notes about activities and foods and invitees you wish to include in the celebration. Create a detailed checklist (including completion dates). If you need to reserve a special venue do so in advance. Start collecting decorations if your celebration includes a party. Perhaps, try to find some photos of your friends real 15th so you can make a nice display.
Birthday Party Planning – 15th in 15 – Resources
To help you get started on your event I’ve posted an album with 13 signs on SlideShare so that you can print the ones you like (for a celebration which the honoree helped plan, for a surprise celebration, for a celebration in which the honoree is turning 51, or for a mystery celebration in which the honoree is blindfolded until it is time to reveal the party theme and surprises). Have the honoree hold the signs as you take photographs for your celebration album.
Still planning for a birthday party in 14? No problem. Consider recelebrating your friend’s 14th in 2014. Of course, this theme might be the most fun if your friend is turning 41 in 2014. Signs for a 14th in 14 may also be found on SlideShare.
