I can remember how, when I first started in event planning, I would panic when a potential client would ask me budget questions. I was so afraid that I would miss an item line and that it would make my pricing out of whack. Then I figured out how to implement and use budget worksheets.
Now here’s the bonus: you can pretty much use the same budget worksheet for any venue. The unit pricing will be different and you may have to add/remove item lines, but the overall budget template remains the same. Time and time again.
