Whether you travel for business, pleasure or both, there’s a variety of hotels to choose from.  A secure and comfy hotel room is top of the list. When traveling for business we don’t really spend that much time lounging in the room. And the fact that these days every single dollar must be accounted for now more than ever. Makes it all about finding the best hotel at the absolute best rate. I have not forgotten what a wise person once told me “it’s not what you spend, it’s what you save a company” In the meeting and events industry we are always looking to get the most for the least. Especially when it comes to business trips. And if I’ve learned anything about hotels. It’s there really isn’t one hotel chain that satisfies all the wants and needs of every traveler.

U.S. News, Travel and Hotels, On My!

To lend us a hand in the area of hotels and travel. U.S.News’ tasked their travel editors with evaluating a collection of travel sources to find the top hotels in the U.S. The sources utilized included travel guidebooks and websites and guest reviews and expert/user ratings. The editors’ used an impartial method of evaluating opinions and recommendations from travelers, tourism professionals and websites. To analyze just under 1,700 luxury hotels and from A to Z they looked at all types of accommodations in the USA. Providing a worthwhile top ten hotels list that can only help to plan business trips, vacations or all of the above.
