Who would have thought a party planner would garner so much attention. This past weekend I helped out a friend by being her designated total party planner during her open house gala. And when the guests heard that I am an event planner by trade. All I could say is let the onslaught of questions begin. In between my self-assigned tasks of taking care the whole kit and caboodle. That included all things house and home, food and beverage and really basically everything needed day of party wise. I spent a good amount of time answering all sorts of party planner and how to become a party planner questions. Guests were definitely intrigued, go figure.
What’s a Party Planner to do?
Some may not agree; but if you ask me, a big chunk of the party fun lies in the organizing. Bringing your imagination, taste and flair to the table. But for some just hearing the words party planner instills a great deal of fear and stress. And I really do get it. Any kind of party requires a lot elbow grease as well as details, details and you guessed it details. Pulling together the four W’s; the why, what, where and who. And then most importantly what remains is the HOW. Taking all those never-ending party details and creating and then executing a plan.
