disney vacation planning character picturesFor some Disney vacation planning seems like a non-starter. A Disney vacation for many is a bucket list, lifetime trip. And can be very intimidating when it comes to not only making plans but the finances too. But I am happy to say it’s not as hopeless as we may think. A client recently asked if I could help her plan a surprise family trip. A sidebar to her meeting. I thought no problem, I‘ve been there a bunch of times, how hard can it be.

Organizing what is for some a once in a life time trip can be nerve wrecking and be a tad terrifying. Wanting all that perfection and not exactly sure where to start. What I’ve learned is planning a Disney vacation can seem like a complex and difficult venture. And once you arrive you’ll definitely find that the park can indeed feel like a wonderful puzzle. But with so many tools and guides available to help us all dodge crowds, discover the best rides, decide where to eat and avoid that dreaded overspending. Don’t forget Disney is the hap, hap, happiest place in the world. And with so much help out there, planning is easier than we think.

Why Disney Vacation Planning is the Key to Fun

Vacation planning isn’t as all-consuming as it may sound. With a little help, we’re can all be on our way to Disney world vacation planning. A Disney vacation comes with lots of dos and don’ts. Do bring a smile, comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a good attitude. Don’t bring new shoes, alcoholic beverages, weapons or even glass containers. Gone are the days where we can just show up and enjoy. If I’ve learned anything from my Disney planning experience; it’s we must (MUST) plan before we go. A trip to Disney without planning is like a day without sunshine. And if you don’t plan you’re definitely setting yourself up for a fail. I can already hear the moaning and complaining. And when hard work yields good results that in itself is the reward. But I promise you after the time, energy and elbow grease it takes to come up with a plan. It will be well worth it and most advantageous once you arrive at the happiest place on earth.

A couple of things to consider when you start to organize a Disney vacation. Plan ahead, do some research and consider all the options. Check out the special offers. Create a budget and use it. Knowing what you have to spend will help you to enjoy the vacation once you’re there. Look into accommodations, weigh what works best for you, onsite or offsite. The more you look ahead and plan, the more you’ll know. And the more you know, the more you’ll be ready for. Have you heard about the FASTPASS+? If not do yourself a favor and check it out.
